Encore Deluxe And Encore Classic Models

Encore ED pumps are medical devices used to treat impotence or erectile dysfunction. The Classic Encore ED pump comes with a penile tube, carrying case, educational video and instruction manual, manual pump, lubricant and 4 different sized constriction rings. The Deluxe Encore ED pump comes with the carrying case, lubricant, penile tube, manual pump, battery powered pump, 7 different sized constriction rings as well as the educational video and instruction manual. Both Encore ED pumps have a ring applicator that is helpful for placement of the constriction rings. One handed use is another key feature of both Encore ED pumps, as the pumps screw into the penile tube allowing for only one hand to be used.

Both of these models of pump can sometimes be paid for using your Medicare or private insurance policy. There are restrictions on these payment types for your pump. One restriction is proving medical necessity. This can sometimes be done through a simple prescription, while other times it requires a diagnosis of ED along with statements from the doctor about treatment options and your overall medical condition. In order to find out if your Medicare or private insurance policy will pay for the Encore ED pump, contact your Medicare worker or private insurance representative for more details. There may be more or less restrictions for your case than others, therefore it is your responsibility to find out about them prior to ordering your unit.
